The Drinker's Cathedral

The Drinker's Cathedral is an Amarr established and run bar and restaurant. All patrons are served as long as they agree to abide by the simple rules laid down by the bar's founder two-hundred years ago. The staff doesn't quite understand some of the rules (they have no idea what this "OOC" stuff is), but they do their best to enforce the rules left behind. Rules are enforced by Moderators, who have been given implants that allow them to control the bouncer drones. These drones are humanoid and generally do their work by throwing offenders out of the door, where they are free to peruse the rest of the carrier's husk. In case of violence, they are equipped with electric stun prods to incapacitate troublemakers.
Rules and Regulations
1. No fighting.
Anyone engaged in any physical violence of any manner will be warned once. If physical altercations escalate, the offender will be asked to leave and cool off. Refusal to leave will result in a temporary ban.
2. No foul language
Swearing and derogatory language will not be permitted. Debates and even arguments will be tolerated, but vulgar language will not. Offenders will be warned, once, to keep it clean and asked to cool off. Refusal will result in a temporary ban.
3. No raunchy behaviour
Affection and tenderness can be shown between partners in the Drinker's Cathedral, regardless of the nature of the partnership. However, excessive kissing and other activities of the flesh are to be done in private, not public. Offenders will kindly be asked to get a room and cool off. Refusal to stop or take it to private will result in a temporary ban.
4. No disorderly conduct
While the Drinker's Cathedral is a bar, it is also a place for people to relax and engage in stimulating conversation. General disorderly behaviour will not be tolerated. This includes vandalizing the bar, acting like a jerk, idiot, or madman, and being generally overtly annoying just to get attention. Offenders will be asked to stop their activities. After one warning, they will be asked to cool off. Refusal will result in a temporary ban.
5. No OOC
The Drinker's Cathedral is a completely in character place. This means NO OOC ALLOWED. This includes using [], (), or (()) to indicate OOC comments. OOC can be taken to the channel "OOC" or private conversations. Ignoring the warnings will result in a temporary ban.
6. No defending criminal activities
People who engage in piracy or illegal activity are allowed into the Drinker's Cathedral. However, there will be no discussing of your criminal activities in the Cathedral, unless you are making an effort to repent for those actions and warn off others from following your path. In addition, defending criminal activities of any kind is not allowed.
7. No animals, monsters, or other non-humans.
Health regulations do not permit us to allow anyone besides a True Amarr, Ni-Kunni, Khanid, Gallente, Intaki, Jin-Mei, Achura, Deites, Civire, Sebiestor, Brutor, Vherokior, or Jove into the bar. This includes people who might be any sort of undead creature, including, but not limited to a zombie, mummy, vampire, lich, specter, spirit, ghost, wight, or wraith. No monsters either, such as bigfoot, abominable snowman, chupacabra, Murdroid, or similar creatures.
Punishments
1. Warning
Upon the first violation of the rules, the offender will be warned by a moderator and directed to read these rules. Everyone gets one warning per day before escalating to the next punishment. Being warned day in and day out may result in skipping this step altogether.
2. Cool off
Anyone who has been warned but continues to break rules will be asked to cool off. This involves voluntarily leaving the Cathedral for several hours to calm down and refrain from making the same mistakes upon returning. Breaking the rules again upon returning, or refusing to cool off, will escalate to the next punishment.
3. Temporary ban
A temporary ban is a three-day ban from the Cathedral. During this time, the offender will not be allowed into the Cathedral for any reason whatsoever. At the end of the three days, the offender will be informed he has been removed from the ban list and will be allowed back into the bar.
4. Extended ban
In the event someone receives numerous temporary bans over an extended period of time, several temporary bans in a short time period, or breaks the rules immediately after being let off a temporary ban, the offender will be banned indefinitely from the Cathedral. People receiving extended bans may, at their discression, petition a moderator of the Cathedral for reentry. The offender must demonstrate their sincerity in wishing to reform.
